The Truck mounted cleaning process - The most thorough clean ever!
We are one of a few companies to have invested in the equipment necessary to carry out restorative cleaning, which includes van mounted hot water extraction equipment x20 more powerful than any portable machine. We also use an industrial dry vacuum to remove all dry soiling prior to using the hot water equipment, something which is again unique to our 9 step restorative process.
Our unique 9 step process:
- High Filtration Industrial Vacuum to remove surface soiling
- Move Large Furnishings
- Pre-spot difficult stains
- Application of Non-chemical, non-toxic, non-caustic pre-spray
- Van Mounted high pressure high temperature water extraction machine
- Anti-bacterial residue rinse to ensure the cleaned area is neutral
- Apply protective foil tabs furniture coverings and replace furniture
- Groom to ensure restored carpets look their best
- Rapid dry system to extract any residual moisture
Although we follow the same 9 step process for every clean, we have specific domestic packages available which have been developed to suit households with allergies, babies and young children and also pets. We also offer an additional clean and protect package, which compliments our cleaning package to protect your carpets in between cleans.

Deeper, more thorough cleaning
Truck-mounted systems are renowned for their power and speed of operation. In comparison, truck-mounted systems operate at around 400-500pis. Portable machines are around 50-100 psi.
Quicker drying
Truck-mount cleaning dries at least 50% quicker than professional portable machines.
Healthier
The machine is kept outside your premises in our van so there is no dirty air blowing inside your house from the machine exhaust.
Fully self contained
We take all of the dirty water away with us (we don’t put it down your drains!). We also provide all our own clean water rather than using your water supply. We can carry out carpet cleaning jobs on premises with no water supply and no electrical supply.
Better for your carpets
With the added power of the truck-mounted system, we are can use safer and more mild carpet detergents, which is not only better for your carpet, but better for the environment too.
Interim cleaning versus restorative cleaning
Most cleaning companies offer interim cleaning (although they may not admit it!) via heated pads, powders or portable hot water extraction machines. None of these methods is powerful enough to achieve a thorough restorative clean and can only be deemed as interim cleaning which will clean the surface but leave soiling beneath the pile. The results of interim cleaning methods may appear clean at first, but leaves residues that will not only attract soil back quickly, but will also wear fibres faster due to the abrasiveness of the soil.
The white towel test
The first diagram below (fig 1) shows what a carpet looks before cleaning, whilst the second (fig 2) shows what a carpet looks like after an “interim” clean. When a “restoration” clean is carried out, you can see it’s well and truly thoroughly cleaned, as seen in the third diagram (fig 3). If you rub a clean white terry towel on it now, it will still be clean -the test speaks for itself. So please try the white terry towel test and make sure you get value for your money!!!
